Confirmation or Rejection of the Principle of Non-contradiction and Principle of Excluded Middle from the Perspective of Religious Texts

Abstract:
Logicians and philosophers have thoroughly examined various aspects of the content of the principle of non-contradiction and have left a great legacy on the basis of which researchers can well reach the most fundamental foundation of human knowledge. However, some have seemingly tried to contradict this principle, but Avicenna after presenting various ways to confront them proposes a practical solution that seems to be useful. One of the challenging issues regarding the scope of the rule is that some believe that the entity at its essence is not covered by the principle. In this article, we have found evidence against this common view, and of course, after analyzing the content of the verses and narrations, we came across cases that are consistent with the content of the principle.

Abstract:
قاعده امتناع اجتماع و ارتفاع نقیضین رکن اساسی دانش بشری است. در اهمیت این قاعده همین بس که اگر کسی محتوای آن را نپذیرد، دسترسی به هرگونه معرفت را از خود سلب می‌کند. منطق‌دانان و فیلسوفان به‌خوبی جوانب مختلف محتوای قاعده عدم تناقض را بررسی کرده و میراثی سترگ به‌جا نهاده‌اند که پژوهشگران به‌خوبی می‌توانند بر پایه آن به زیربنایی‌ترین بنیان دانش بشری دست‌یابند. باوجوداین، برخی در ظاهر کوشیده‌اند با اصل قاعده مخالفت کنند که بوعلی پس از پیش‌کشیدن راه‌های مختلف در رویارویی با آنان، راه‌حلی عملی پیشنهاد می‌کند که به نظر می‌رسد کارساز است. یکی از مباحث چالشی درباره گسترۀ قاعده آن است که برخی بر این باورند مرتبه ذات ماهیت زیر پوشش قاعده قرار نمی‌گیرد. در این نوشتار شواهدی در مقابل این دیدگاه رایج یافته‌ایم و البته پس از واکاوی محتوای آیات و روایات با مواردی روبه‌رو شدیم که با محتوای قاعده تناسب دارند.
