Argumentative reasoning is one of the most important parts of logical dialogue. Religious texts based on revelation have repeatedly opened the way for dialogue with their audiences and invited them to reason; but this invitation has been accompanied by logical methods. Therefore, extracting argumentative methods in religious texts is of great importance. The main audience of revelation was the general public. The audience of argumentation is also the public or those who do not have access to evidence. Therefore, considering the scope of application of argumentation, it is necessary to discover the extent to which this general method of argumentation is used in religious texts. In this article, we first seek to examine the definition, principles, and benefits of argumentation. Then, we compare argumentation with the best argumentation and present their points of similarity and difference. In the third step, we turn to the content of religious texts and try to find verses and narrations in which the argumentative method has been used. The study shows that the argumentative method has been used in religious texts.
